Shoemaker

Re:design of a shoemaker's workshop, operating since 1988 on Sztormowa Street in Żabianka in Gdańsk, which was threatened with bankruptcy due to the pandemic. Thanks to the local community’s engagement on social media, funds were raised to save the shoemaker from closing shop. Traffic Design team undertook the case as a pro-bono project and, taking into consideration the industrial character of the neighbourhood, as well as the humble budget, designed a new sign, and refreshed the facade.
